We rock first come, first served—but there’s plenty of seating.
Can guests access by boat?
Yes! Mullets Okoboji offers convenient boat access with several dedicated slips available for our dining guests. Our boat dock is located directly behind the restaurant with easy access to our lakeside entrance. During peak summer weekends, we recommend calling ahead to check dock availability.
Is it open year-round?
Yes, Mullets Okoboji is open year-round! While our summer hours are extended to accommodate lake visitors, we maintain regular hours throughout the fall, winter, and spring. During winter months, we offer special events, themed dinners, and watch parties for major sporting events to keep the Mullets experience lively all year long.
Can I book a private party?

Does it offer outdoor seating with lake views?
Yes! Our spacious outdoor patio offers stunning, unobstructed views of Lake Okoboji. Every table on our patio provides a breathtaking lake panorama, making it one of the most sought-after dining spots in the area.
Are there specific times for the outdoor patio?
Our outdoor patio opens daily at 7:00 AM (weather permitting) and remains open until 30 minutes before restaurant closing. During peak summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), the patio is available for full-service dining all day. In spring and fall, patio availability depends on weather conditions—please call ahead if outdoor seating is your preference during these seasons.
